About

Success is defined by…

… getting people who love each other to not only talk but to communicate.

Watching confused teens who have gone off to college and thrive, making great choices, or who discovered their passion and are living the lives they want that makes them happy and content.

It’s defined by seeing teens grow professionally or get married or even have children… (which in some cases, it was a choice that was almost not an option because of the damage inflicted on their bodies).

Success is seeing teens communicate with their (much more) relaxed parents, who beam with pride as they talk about them.

It’s watching couples reunite and “start over” with an even stronger base and a renewed view of each other.

Success is witnessing couples build a positive connection within their families through their new communication styles and techniques.

It’s seeing couples develop newfound contentedness with each other and the wonderful impact it has on their children. Everyone benefits.

Success is reading about business professionals who reduced their stress and found the balance in prioritizing their family. It’s them discovering when they find a healthy balance between their career and family, they’re more efficient in work and life.

Success is seeing business professionals experience a more complete and fulfilling life. Now, they really do have it all.

It doesn’t take a magic wand or a fairy tale.

I hope my time with you is just a tiny piece of your life-long puzzle. But I pride myself on my clients being prepared to handle and balance the difficult times in their lives. I want to help them really shine and enjoy the best times.

There is nothing better than instilling hope through open communication, allowing yourself to be you, and having the chance to help you see more clearly the potential of your future.

This is my definition of success, and it’s the direction we will go together.

About Me

I have a Masters In Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University, and I am a licensed therapist in Texas and California.

Before moving to Texas, I ran an Adolescent Eating Disorder Program in Beverly Hills. However, I was often referred to as “the therapist to the kid stars.” I got to work with a diverse group of kids from all over Southern California.

I am currently working on a book called “4th & 15” to assist Dads, brothers, boyfriends, and other family and friends to better understand Disordered Eating by using Football Terms.

I am also a CPA with an MBA in International Finance from NYU and a Masters in Taxation/Estate Planning from Northeastern. My history and background are in entertainment, film, tv & music.

Seem like an odd mix? It isn’t. I like to learn and grow. Everything else got me here.

All the degrees and success in the other areas are nice, but what matters most is this…

This work is my passion. It’s what I do best. This is what I am supposed to be doing.

A final note…

I also know that I am not right for everyone, and I will honestly tell you. I will not waste your time. I don’t do this to pay the rent, and I don’t want every client. I only take the ones I honestly think I can help… so reach out to me to discover if we are a good fit.

I am a big relationship guy (my wife puts up with me, my kids play with me, and the dog [Georgie] definitely loves me, LOL!).

I have been in enough and seen enough to have learned that relationship struggles can be overcome by adjusting communication.

Let me help you get there, too. Call me today to schedule an appointment: (512) 983-1550.
